Meet Ms. Brathwaite
Dear Mott Hall High School Community,
My name is Kendra Brathwaite, and I am excited to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal of Mott Hall High School. I am honored to be part of this vibrant community and to serve you and your children this school year. As an educator, I believe that a strong sense of community is essential for academic success. For this reason, I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters learning, growth, and success for all students.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and come from a family of educators who instilled in me the value of education. After earning my undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in business, I decided to follow my passion for education and became a Special Education Educator and Advocate. In 2021, I joined the Mott Hall High School community as the newest Assistant Principal, and it has been one of the best decisions I have made.
This year, I will be teaching Living Environment to 10th graders, and I am excited to prepare them for the Regents examination on Friday, June 14th, 2024, at 1:15 PM. To be eligible to take this exam, students must have 1200 lab minutes. I encourage all students to attend school on time and daily to ensure they get all vital content, skill building, and opportunities to increase their lab minutes.

Additionally, I have provided resources students can use to prepare for the exam, including the Regents Living Environment Power Pack Revised Edition and past Living Environment Regents Examinations.
