Welcome Families!
I am very excited to introduce myself as the Family Involvement Coordinator at Mott Hall High School. I have had the opportunity to meet your amazing students and the incredible educators that make up the Mott Hall High School family.
I was born and raised in the Washington Heights and attended PS/IS 187 as well as John F. Kennedy High School. I started my career with the DOE in 1999, first as a school aide then after a leave, returned as a Parent Coordinator for Middle School 328 in the Washington Heights. As a PC, I strongly believe that parents are the backbone of their child’s education and success in life. As parents, we tend to think as our children grow, we don’t need to be as involved in school as they prepare for adulthood. This cannot be further from the truth. Parent involvement is just as critical in a child’s teen years as it was in early childhood development. The need for higher education is stronger now than ever. At Mott Hall High School, the administration and staff are working incredibly hard to ensure your child’s progress and success not only in High School but as they continue into Adulthood. You are a critical part of that success and I am here to help you.
Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to learn as well as connect to peers and their teachers. If you have questions about your student’s health and coming to school, please contact the school at 212-694-6020.
Please feel free to email or call me anytime if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate everyone’s hard work and commitment to our school community.
Thank you.
